Common housing questions
Can we purchase Housing on its own?
Yes. Registration and Housing are available separately. Use Housing for your hotel program, or purchase both modules for an integrated registration and booking experience.
Is a group room-block request a confirmed booking?
No. The housing team reviews and allocates the request. Block approval and individual member reservations are separate steps.
Does a hotel guarantee always charge a card?
A card guarantee can collect a card without charging it. Deposit guarantees charge according to their configured terms and timing. Review the actual guarantee.
Where do sourcing and contracting fit?
MCI services can support hotel sourcing and contract negotiation. Jade can support configured contract information, inventory, rates, and terms. Scope the software and service responsibilities together.
Which housing reports are available?
Standard reports cover pickup, rooming lists, waitlists, cancellations, estimated attrition exposure, commissions and rebates, and registered-versus-housed activity. Schedule delivery by secure email link or export to PDF and Excel. Available reports depend on enabled features and permissions.
